I find two tv noon games very intriguing.
Nebraska at Colorado - Is Colorado legit? Perhaps the biggest week 1 story along with coach Prime hysteria, tested against a known B10 school.
Purdue at Virginia Tech - as an RU fan, a chance to get a good look at VT a week in advance.

I’ll watch more of the Neb - Col game but will check on Va Tech - Purdue game from time to time. Amid all the Colorado/Deon hype, some forget that Neb/Col was a big time rivalry at one point.

Definitely the Purdue/VT game as we'll be facing Tech the following week.

I think Nebraska is just not a good team and is going to get smoked.

I'm not gonna watch either game but I'm interested in the outcome of both games.
I'm going to watch both of the games and others at noon like ND/NC State and Baylor/Utah lol. Multiview is awesome but the 2 which are most competitive will keep my attention.

Whichever one is not blacked out by Disney/Spectrum

Nebraska and Colorado are rivals historically
They used to be in the same conference and they share some geography.
I was watching cfb podcasts that had former Buf players and its still a thing to them.
People aren't supposed to wear red on campus
Former players return for the game so the atmosphere at the game should be like homecoming + rivalry + post TCU juice.

I might end-up at Army live and will dvr games

“Rivalries are rivalries,” Sanders said. “There’s some more severe than than others. I think everywhere you go coach from high school on up or from youth league on up, you’re gonna have rivalries. Learning the dynamics of the different rivalries, I like it. It’s delightful.

“So I’ve learned the serious nature of this rivalry and I’m embracing it 100%. This is personal. That’s the message of the week.”

Colorado -nebraska for sure .
The buffs at -3 is interesting. Seems like the books are begging you to take Colorado.
Crazy line movement on this one. Prior to the week 1 games, the line I showed at a couple of books was actually Nebraska -8.5 !!

This was indeed a good Big 12 rivalry.
Personally, I'll never forget the 2001 game on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I was in Vegas with a few buddies, watching the games at Venetian. Nebraska was in the midst of their dominant stretch and undefeated going into this last game of the season, and close to a two TD favorite as I recall, since I bet them and lost a lot. Probably my worst sports betting loss ever. One of my buddies was a huge Huskers fan too, so he was mortified.
Well that day Colorado stomped the everloving **** out of them, winning 62-36. Never forgot that score! The Buffs ran all over them with the tandem of Chris Brown and Bobby Purify. It really was more or less the last time Nebraska was in the running for the national championship.

Looking forward to Colorado v Nebraska.

Purdue - V-Tech sounds like a snoozer, rather just wait to watch us play them.

I’m rooting for VTech to win big. I’d rather have a match up with a perceived better opponent.

On the other hand, I’m rooting for Illinois to shut down Kansas simply because I’m just tired of hearing how wonderful Leipold is.

I know they had some great games and a lot of people don't remember Colorado when they were very good (co-national champs with Georgia Tech in 1990 -Kordell Stewart came from there in 95 - Sanders son just broke his record)

I've got too many chores to do to watch games other than ours. But I confess I'm not really that big a CFB fan that I watch many games other than ours anyway.

Yeah..something is really way off with this…which is why I wouldn’t touch it. I’m not saying Colorado will be as good as they looked Saturday, but I do think Nebraska could really be as bad as they looked.

I’m reverse. CFB is only sport I pay attention to and I Hoover it up during the 3 months or so. I can barely tell you anything about any of the local teams or otherwise in any of the pro sports. Saturdays in the fall are my sanctuary lol.

It's good to have that kind of intense interest in things.

I am like that with Formula One. I'm so addicted to the sport I actually get a bit down for a day or two after F1 season ends for winter. 🙂

Agree about most other pro sports. Used to watch a lot of pro basketball and football. Not any more. Too many commercials (except for soccer, which I still watch now and then).

I tried to get into F1 a bit after I watched Drive to Survive on Netflix but didn’t float my boat. Still like the series but the actual races not so much haha.

I’d have to think hard to tell you who the coaches are for the Jets Giants Knicks etc..that’s how little attention I pay lol. 20 years ago that’s wasn’t the case lol I could tell you anything and everything. As I got older only CFB has kept my interest. The rest just fell by the wayside with life stuff etc…

I not only don't know who the local team coaches are at all, I don't know who any of the players are either. I mean, I might recognize the names of one or two players if someone told me them. But I have no clue who's on any of the teams right now.

I've been an F1 addict since long ago, when I was pretty young. If I were doing it all over again, I'd have begged my parents to get me started in karting (the starting point for most F1 drivers) at a young age. One of my most favorite things to do is drive (ideally fast).
