LSU.

11 players.

Next closest was Bama at 8. This doesn't include Juniors that have entered the draft so Florida could be right there with LSU so could Bama.

I guess the only difference is that Florida and Bama over the last two years have regular season SEC records of 15-1 and 16-0, while LSU's is 8-8.

Its not easy turning all of that talent into a .500 SEC club. It takes someone special to do it.

Once again I would like to thank Coach Miles for turning that much talent into an average SEC team.

Exactly. That's why you listed the number of Seniors that were invited.

He'll get mad.

You are right. And what's funny will be watching LSU's number decrease each year that Miles stays employed there.

keep les miles fund. that bozo does less with more than anybody. when those a**h***s in baton rouge fire him they may blunder into somebody good again. of course saban was once out of 10 headcoaching hires so they don't exactly have a track record of hiring well but still................

both years. It's ridiculous how badly we've done against them in the past 20 years.

I don't think he'll be a super high draft pick but would have thought he would have squeezed into the combine list.

Saban was the first coach to come in there and actually have some sustained success in a long time. The last coach before him that I can remember was Bill Arnsparger who didn't stay very long before going to florida as AD a long time ago. Whatever Saban does, you have to give him credit. I have seen references that he is dirty as hell, but he gets the job done.

Once Saban got things rolling at LSU, I didn't think OM had a chance against LSU. Even next year with OM losing a ton of players, I have no doubt we will be a double digit underdog to LSU, and should lose the game, but I would put Bama and UPIG as guaranteed losses ahead of LSU.

LSU loses a ton in graduation, and they may lose Terrance Toliver on top of Chad Jones.

Now that LSU has locked up LA for recruiting (for the most part) and can cherry pick from the rest of the Southeast and TX, their talent level will never drop out of the top 5 in the SEC. Just too much talent. Next year they have a top 10 pick in Peterson, a top WR in Toliver (if he comes back), a top DT (Nevis) and a top LB in Sheppherd. All we can hope is that Miles doesn't learn how to use players like Russell Shepherd.

The good thing is that if he hasn't realized how a clock works by now, or that the clock stops after an interception, he will never know.

With the talent in Louisiana and the fact they're the only major school there, historically they should be challenging Alabama as the top SEC football program. Instead, they're only 5th (6th if you count Georgia Tech).

a run for the underachievment title...if that is we're talking SEC football from the jump.

Obviously, UF has been very good for a while, but they were mediocre for a great deal of their history.

they won their first SEC championship in 1991.

Let that sink in. 50 years after we won our only SEC title, Florida won their FIRST. They now have 8, only trailing Alabama, Tenn, UGA and LSU, and have won all 8 in the last 19 years. Crazy.

It's hard to imagine now, but for most of the SEC's history, Florida was just a backwater state. Nothing even close to being special until the last 25 years or so.
