got 1/2 inch of ice then about 1 inch of powder... stayed all week on the roads.... now it looks like 3-4 inches of powder before noon Friday... wont see temps above freezing till Saturday afternoon... I don't think I've ever spent 4 days straight where the temp didn't get above 22...lows down into 10-11 degree mark....every. damned. day.... it's pretty though...

to make it sports related:...superbowl.... hope the packer/steeler fans feel they never left home...

got 1.5" already just south of DFW airport, we got about inch of sleet on tuesday with a 1/4" of snow on top at the very end.

and btw.. possible not likely snow on monday and ANOTHER big Artic outbreak on wed/thur with a big chance of snow again.

no end in sight.. this will actually make the driving better believe it or not.. will cover the ice and make traction better...it's coming down real steady....won't be surprised if we don't get 4-5 inches before noon tomorrow.... this afternoon the experts were predicting just a light dusting....

I got 3" in most of the spots I measured... I'm just south west of the swath they labeled as getting 6"
You might think the snow is helping driving but there have already been a ton of wrecks this morning.
You cant tell where the ice is underneath anymore because it is now snow covered
and if the clouds stay in place today it wont melt much if any (we wont get above freezing again today)

I've been watching the models and talking with people on storm2k and this wekk was horrible with the models for the most part
very hard to predict what was going on...and as i mentioned more artic air will come down on wed/thursday and more snow is possible..this might be a bigger event.
