Did Cael and Casey confer before choosing NOT to challenge?? :ROFLMAO:

Not sure I would want to make that call. Sure seems Dake's exposed before the clock ( which is FUBAR ) hits zero and clearly his is one his butt is his only supporting point. The question is did he have it in time......I think he did, but admittedly, I don't have the eye for this like a more experience fan might.

The call on the mat of no TD was immediately reviewed by the offices and then the call was reversed to make it 5-3 Starrocci.

Dake challenged, the call was reversed to 3-3 adv Dake. So, not sure a 3rd review mattered.

I was joking.....didn't realize there was a double review.

I hope Carter sticks with Free a bit longer. He appears to be making strides and can focus on refining his skill full time. When you are right with Kyle Dake, you are pretty damn good on the world stage.

I figured you were joking.
I think the coaches want "their" guy to win even when it is against their guy. If they thought the challenge would have made a difference they would have thrown it.

I was also adding some context as the final score doesn't show the original calls and challenges.

Watched all the finals matches. It was like watching a PSU vs. the US dual. It’s unbelievable how much talent we have. Blaze takes third as a high schooler. Duke wins as a high schooler. Both have great motors and are so positionally sound. Haines dominated Hamiti; big turnaround from NCAAs. C- Star vs. Dake, neck and neck…literally too close to call. Dake wins but C-Star appears to be the future at 86Kg or is it AB???; I know it’s Dake vs. Zahid at Final X, don’t think Zahid has the gas tank to hang with C-Star or AB, if they meet next year. Barr at 92Kg is exciting; constantly on the attack. Then there’s the guys that already qualified for Final X - Lightning Luke and MitchMess. Unreal! I’ve never watched this much freestyle in my life.

So blessed to be able to witness this era of PSU/NLWC wrestling.👍🏻👍🏻

I never thought I’d see the day, but since I have been watching enough freestyle to understand the different rules/scoring/strategy nuances …because it’s a way to see more of our guys… it’s actually started growing on me!

Who’s that big burly guy coaching many of our guys, alongside Nick Lee?

He looks very energetic, and the guys look like they really like him!
