Some on this board have better information than others. I am curious who the top candidates may be.

I have seen talk of former RU employee Kevin MacConnell. I remember Todd Frazier was a finalist last time. Any other likely AD candidates?

For HC I think there are probably 20-30 candidates from AAC head coaches to coordinators from a lot of the Power 5 with northeastern ties to former head coaches who were not coaching this year to NFL assistants with college coaching experience.

Todd Frazier? I know who you meant, but in your case, it's probably not a typo

Man you would need a real true believer, brass balled type to work for RU now. I don't see "top" candidates wanting anything to do with the "State of Rutgers" zoo (I include NYC media). Endless banana peels. Need someone young and hungry/crazy.

Todd Frazier could probably recruit NJ better than Flood, even without football experience.

You can't manage what you can't message. Rutgers needs to hire a crack political PR firm to both control messaging and neuter media organizations' spin on the issues with RU both as an institution and sports franchise.

Does anyone know if sanctions would follow Jim Tressel, if hired as the AD?

I know we are looking for realistic, but find it intriguing.

Whoever they hire as AD that person needs to come from a B1G school that can acclimate us to this conference and its way of doing business. We need to start acting like a B1G member.
