Teacher-student “thing” aside, a 6 year age gap, historically speaking, is completely normal. Show me pictures of 50 people between 17 and 23, and my old a^^ can’t tell a difference.

I realize we’ve gotten on a moral high horse in the last 50 years, but for the 5,000 years prior to that, this isn’t a story other than the fidelity perhaps. Prison would have been cruel and unusual punishment outside of Puritanical New England.

Sex marathon? All I could think is my man (like Denzel Washington says it) will over come the pain some how. If there was ever a need for a E60 story of over coming the odds this is it. I am sure he needs a wrist brace after all the high fives. As far as the “predator” teacher goes have her sent to my bed chamber where she may be punished.

What are your thoughts on 40ish Jimmy Dykes dating and then marrying an Arkansas cheerleader? All perfectly legal, but something just ain't right there. I might kid on here, but in real life I can't help but feel some adult responsibility in such a situation. And I don't even have kids.

Full disclosure, they've been married 20+ years and have a daughter in college, so it "worked"

Wonder if he'd feel good about his cheerleader daughter's new 40 something studmuffin.

I’ve got no problem with a 23 to 17 year old gap being illegal, and wish it were illegal in Mississippi. But it does seem a little messed up that a 23 year old could be 17ing a 17 year old and it be completely legal, and then get a job at his or her school and it go from legal to a felony and having to register as a sex offender for life.

if it’s not at least a misdemeanor if they aren’t a teacher, not sure it should be a felony only because they’re a teacher, even if defonitelynmakes sense to have additional restrictions for people in positions of authority.

similarly, not sure a 2 year and 1 day age difference should be statutory rape if 1 year and 364 day difference isn’t a misdemeanor.

Yup, she’s off the chart crazy. If she wanted something besides her husband, it wouldn’t have been any problem to find a legal option. She probably wanted the attention of getting caught. Crazy.
