Who do you root for: Auburn or Oregon?

My current hatred of Auburn and most of the SEC compells me to take Oregon. To hell with conference pride. Everyone knows the SEC is the best regardless of the outcome of the BCS title game.

I am also going for Wisconsin over TCU so we can quell some of the Boise, Utah, TCU for number one talk that we have had to endure lately.

I hate both teams... I realized this weekend that I actually hate most teams. I won't be happy no matter who is in the NC game, unless it's us.

I'm with you. 17 AU. Go ducks. I hope they steamroll AU. I would love to see a 70-17 type drubbing. Watching the talking heads on ESPN say we would be in Glendale with Cam just took my pissed offedness to a new level. If not for that slimeball sack of **** Cecil, we would have been at least an 11 or 12 win team this season, maybe better. Cam wanted to go to MSU and the preacher had to 17 it all up. Furthermore, I'm so tired of the sanctimonious AU fans with their elitist "Cam chose AU because we are AUsome and you are sucky little MSU" drivel, I want to puke. There are fans of 10 schools in this conference (AU & Vandy being the exceptions b/c Vandy fans just don't care) that KNOW that AU played dirty to get Cam and most likely played dirty to get several other recruits. We all know that the dirtiest Tiger in NCAA history hasn't changed its stripes, it has just gotten better at hiding its dirty dealings.

So, while I am normally a big proponent of SEC pride in bowl games, especially the NC game, I will be "ALL IN" against AU this year.

But if the Auburn team that played the past two weeks who up and the lay off don't hurt them they will whip Oregon.

All this crap that went on the last two days with us (potentially) dropping 3 bowl slots to the Music City really jaded me. I don't want other SEC schools doing well because the better they do the higherprobabilitywe go to a worse bowl game. I suppose I am sick of being the school that people think is ok to **** on when they feel like it. So glad we are going to the Gator and 17 the rest of the SEC.

AU might as well show up wearing combat fatigues a la Miami circa the 1987 Fiesta Bowl, because they're probably about as well liked outside of Bama (and CBS headquarters) right now as the Hurricanes were back then. Hopefully, Oregon will play the part of Penn State and quietly come in and take care of business amidst all of the Cam lovefest that'll be going on.

which is saying a lot for me since I despise the Pac-10 and root against them in damn near every single bowl game unless a team I don't mind in that conference is playing against another team I can't stand. Auburn has vaulted themselves to one of my main hated schools in the SEC now which means I really don't care who wins. This game is really a lose/lose for me. Only thing that would probably make me go for Auburn is if Oregon wins, then all of the Pac-10 big heads will have more ammo in their arsenal when they try their hardest to convince everyone that their conference is the best. At this point though, I really don't care either or.

I'm getting tired of seeing comments like this from Auburn fan's:<div>
</div><div>"<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">While it totally works for Bruce Dickinson, the cowbell is the most God-awful nightmare in all of the SEC. The MSU "fanbase" (with even more "sidewalk" alums than bammer has, which is saying a LOT) are total mouthbreathers. Y'all will leave that game grateful for the tOSUers. I highly recommend earplugs - they are only supposed to be able to ring those stupid bells at certain times or risk a fine, but since none of them can read the rules anyway, they tend to ring them whenever the hell they want to... and the SEC has done NOTHING to stop them.</span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">
</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">Not to mention that their new head coach still has sand in his vajayjay over Cam Newton signing with Auburn over MSU. I think he took the MSU job - which is a coaching death sentence - only because he thought he was going in there with the best player in CFB at his side. He knew what Cam could do - he coached him at FL - and he saw an opportunity to use Cam to make himself look great at an otherwise shittastic school, leading to a bigger opportunity than he would ever have with the bottom tier talent MSU normally gets. He genuinely thought Cam would choose MSU over Auburn, Oklahoma and Tennessee.</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">

I totally agree with the alleged statement made by Cecil Newton, that it would take more than a scholarship to get his son to MSU. I would feel the same way. It would take an offensive line strong enough to keep my gifted son from getting his *** kicked on every other play. It would take a university with whom my gifted son could be proud to have his name associated. It would take the genuine possibility that my gifted son would be surrounded by players decent enough to actually make a run for the SEC West and be a national contender.</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">

</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">MSU has never and will never have or provide ANY of those items. And the list of SEC schools that will be allowed to recruit my son one day is down to 9...</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(14, 23, 63); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; ">

They are the only people who despise the Bama as much, no probably more than I do.

Can't stand the Ducks either. They are the Thug U of the new millennium and should give out black and white glasses to spectators of their games to keep the uniforms from blinding all who watch.

You know what I would absolutely love LOVE to see happen? Cam's daddy figures out that it is a lot cheaper to pull his *** out of this game and get an agent than to buy insurance against his golden goose getting hurt. So Cecil tells AwBurn to 17 off and pulls Cam out of school for the draft.

What would be even better? Cam gets caught cheating on a final and the prof takes it strait to ESPN, and Cam gets expelled. Now that would be some sweet *** justice. I was in this position as a teaching assistant with a student on the friggin golf (!) team. I made the mistake of turning him in to the department head rather than going strait to the ethics committee with my evidence (dude handed in a paper I had graded for another kid the previous year). Suddenly it disappeared, and the kid goes on to play in the next tournament. These cheating mfs need to be booted out of school, or throw away the honor code and your degree cause neither one are worth a damn.

If so, I would love to get the maximum payout, then for Auburn to vacate their wins and the NC... AFTER we cash the check.

Added bonus: I would also enjoy holding "5 national championships in a row, bitches!!!!1!" against my friends in the midwest.

The season will be taken from them within the next year or so anyway.

Question: Will the money from the BCS game remain in the pockets of the universities, even if the trophy and title are taken away?

Auburn will have the victory stripped in the future anyway.
Auburn win establishes the SEC as the top conference again.
I dont want to see another SEC team go 13-0 and miss out on the National Title. I'd much rather continue to send two loss teams to the title game.
