I say Torbush, Melvin Smith, and maybe David Turner will be gone. Jay Hughes probably stays. All of the offensive staff remains. Any thoughts???

I think you meant Tony Hughes. But he stays. The lack of talent in the secondary is absolutely unreal. I dont see how you could possibly blame the individual positon coaches when you have bad talent and depth at each unit. You can however fire the coordinator for a bad game plan and scheme. Torbush has gotten toasted twice this season, and thats unacceptable considering we havent played Florida, Houston, or Bama yet. I don't think the position coaches can be held responsible for another few years when we finally have the talent here that we need to compete every week. But I think Torbush has to go. He can't adjust mid game, and if you can't do that in the SEC, you will not be successful.</p>

I`m not convinced Dan understands the difference in recruiting at MSU and UF yet.

I don't understand why with our secondary talent or lack thereof we:

1. Play so much zone coverage.

2. Why the DB's never seem to know what's going on in said zone coverage.

Do they suck. Yes. Absolutely. But sometimes, we aren't really doing them any favors.

I thought Torbush had a good game plan...the db's were in position but absolutely suck at getting into position to make a play and they can't tackle (ie that quick pass to the flats to #8 where he would just stiffed arm Anderson's *** to the ground and continue to pick up nine yards)... Zach smith was in position twice for a pick but didn't and they scored on one of those plays and gave up the big play in the second half when our D was gaining momentum..the d-line and linebackers (especially Pernell and KJ) came off the field getting all over the DBs asses, it was entertaining...our Dbs are just horrible outside of Mitchell...Washington is a good tackler, not a very good cover guy
