The best player/best athlete on the team is usually either the backup QB or the backup RB - whoever is playing less.
Morgan probably has the best pro potential at the moment. Gates as a guard is close. The biggest loss to he team would probably be if Gates went down. There was talk of Jones going pro last year. But I would put it between Gates and Morgan.
Best Athlete? Probably one of the Davis Twins.
Best Player? Probably Nick Gates, Stanley Morgan, or Chris Jones (although hopefully it is Tanner Lee)

Or maybe most posters don't take themselves as seriously as you do. Maybe they approach the board as a form of entertainment and bring some levity to various threads. Most people who start a thread don't mind that at all. I know I don't. Some of the humor on here is quite good. But you don't seem familiar with either levity or humor.
By the end of next year I think we're going to be saying Tyjon Lindsey. Otherwise, Davis twins, Marcus Newby and Avery Roberts athletically for sure. Stanley Morgan is probably our best player.
Honestly my friend, I just feel that the joking and weird (non football) posts should be saved for the free board. We all have busy lives and I come here for Husker football content that I don't get through my other sources. This board, being a Premium board we pay for, feels like it should be more focused.
Maybe I'm just getting older and have less patience/time for the other stuff. Could very well be that.

I agree. As much as I pay for this board, it is probably best to leave the joking for those low-life hacks on the free board. By paying 10 bucks a month for info available in a ton of other places, it makes us better than them. Those freeloading losers should get off our collective lawns!

I don't do the pay board because, as 4.6.3 says, there is very little real info there that can't be gotten elsewhere, or if you just wait one or two days.
