Who the hell is crying over an insult? I've never complained about being insulted and never will. Seems to me you are the one with the red rear end, not me. I merely pointed out that when an argument can't be refuted then resorting to insults is a lame *** defense and one that usually means guilty as charged. Nobody can take away the State F'ng Champion rings. And they shouldn't. I have merely pointed out that winning those rings WILL always come with a big *** * you can take that to the bank! The internet has allowed schools like Murphy to be exposed for what they are. Mt. Airy is in that same damn conversation. You clamor as being powerhouse football teams, storied programs etc.... You also need to include how you got there. Murphy and Mt. Airy aren't "hotbeds" of talent. They pull from many schools and win at the lowest level in NCHSAA. Wow... Impressive. The only ones that consider that a great accomplishment are the same ones on here screaming "nuh uh...!!!!" Laughable. Be glad you figured out a way to dupe the system for decades and won. Just know every night when you go to bed that nobody else in the state acknowledges it as being "homegrown" and ethical.

I don't know if you are referring to Farkus or me being mad. But if you are referring to me being mad you are wrong. I'm as happy as a feller could be. Nothing that has ever been said on here has, nor will ever make me mad. I think it's pretty funny actually. I do however think its pretty sad that a bunch of jealous old men belittle a bunch of defenseless teenagers every day and feel good about themselves over it. But that's life I reckon, it sure doesn't make me mad. I don't think it makes any of us mad but we will defend our kids. No one around here puts much stock into what someone that bashes kids have to say. I promise you that.

I am not apologizing for being one of the largest 1a teams,when we are big enough to be1aa we will be one of the smallest and will play there without complaint. If you dont like it call the State have them change the rules until then were playing where we fall.1a STATE CHAMPIONS!Go Dogs !

I actually respect robbinsville more for winning tradition with alot less kids and without hearing about joe blow moving back in with his step dads nephews cousin on a yearly basis...who was originally from murphy but left for whatever reason. I wish alleghany and cherokee had the rich tradition and consistent winning that murphy and robbinsville has. Im confident that alleghany is headed in the right direction...but im affraid i will have to settle for getting on the side of the playoff bracket that avoids murphy the longest for awhile....cherokee will take a big step back with mintz leaving....christ school sucks

Many of you claim Murphy only wins because they are the biggest 1A team. Based on that logic then why have a playoff? Just make the division and award the trophy to the biggest team. Why don’t one of you guys do a little research and give us the number of times the largest team in the playoffs wins it all. Give us facts to support your claims.

The 92 championship was won before murphy figured out how to rig the system to get to play in the kiddy pool with schools half their size. In 76 Franklin won the 2A state ship but lost to R'ville that year 42-13, do you ever see R'ville people on here thumping their chests claiming that 2A championship. No you don't because we have more class than that. We know what we have done and we have done it Honestly, not claiming travel hardship, starting an off campus EC and Delinquent school so we can claim to have less students than we actually have.
As murphy knows better than anyone when your on the top of the mountain you constantly have to deal with jealous morons who wish they could be there instead. I guess it is the price of winning. Reminds me of when people used to complain about phillips jordan recruiting and hiring in kids and their families in the 70s. May be they did and may be they didnt, but 40 years later no one cares.
And i can only speak for myself but i had rather murphy stay small and go thru them to win a title than to act like we need them to move up so we can dodge them and win one. I dont know when this mindset came about in our fanbase. How about instead of ******** about ec and numbers we sac up and beat them on the field for a change.

After 20+ years of fake/no show classes orchestrated by Dean Smith a little fudging on high school ADMs and bringing players in from all over certainly doesn't bother you. Let me ask you something. Remember those Charles Kurault ads on tv during unc-cheat games? "the well, the bell, the old stone wall.....?" Where have those gone? They spoke of the "Carolina Way." I guess once they were exposed as having the biggest athletic academic scandal in ACC history they had to change it up a little!!!! HA HA!!!!!!

Dude, quit making us all look bad. If you are who I think you are, congratulations, your kid wrestles, and is very good. I don't think they have an old man league up here, so I'm pretty sure that you don't.
I hate to disappoint you but I don't have a kid wrestling I'm just a fan of the sport. As far as me making you all look bad, that couldn't be father from the truth, murphy has took advantage of a rigged system since the 70's. The only time they played by the same rules as everybody else was before the split of 1A and 1AA. How many ships did they win during that era? 0, and for the record how many did we win 0. 2 of our teams would have won ships if we didn't have to play 1AA schools during that time. The way it is set up now the only way a 1A school can win the ship is they have to beat at least 1 team with 1AA numbers, which is at the present time murphy. We did that with the last of our championship teams, which brings me to the point, we would have stomped the east team just like murphy did.
The only time you disappoint me is when you open your mouth. I'm thankful for the split because I'm not sure that WE would have our most recent championship without it. The split has benefited us as much as anyone. Personally, if we can't beat Murphy I'm not too interested in crowing about winning. That was the best part of our runs a few years ago .... beating Murphy twice in a season. The only thing that you are right about is that you have a right to your opinion. Where you are wrong is in being a horses *** to a lot of good people. You are a microcosm of society ... the loudest most annoying voice is that of the minority. The majority just sets back and takes a beating. I literally beg you to give it a rest. We have a great team coming back for next season and probably one of two or three favorites to win a championship.
