Having lived in Jacksonville for 10 years now, I "keep up with" the jags, but have never been able to latch on to an nfl team. College ball has always been #1 by a wide margin.

I’ve been all over the place. Can’t really find any passion to follow anybody really. Growing up in south Mississippi my whole family were Saints fans but they were known as the Aints then and were awful. Then the oilers moved to Tennessee and their first year they went to the Super Bowl and as a kid I thought this new team with the new logos was awesome and was a fan of them until Vince Young left and they fell off the face of the earth. Been kind of a Cowboys fan just following Dak and rooting for him but that organization and their fanbase has kinda ruined it for me. I’m close to KC and kinda wanted to cheer for them in the early dynasty years but I can’t get on board with them. Just feels too bandwagony. I’m still searching. Considering Bills or Broncos currently. I’m struggling

The very first thing I remember about pro football was watching the game where OJ went over 2000 yds for the season. #1: They were playing in the snow which totally enthralled this 7 year old from south Mississippi. #2: I thought their uniforms were cool with the buffalo on the helmet and #3: The announcers kept making a big deal about them. They became my team that day and I've never looked back. There were bad years followed by 4 straight 'almost' years followed by bad years and now getting back to the 'almost' but I'm sticking with them.

ETA: I haven't been to a game in Buffalo but it's on the list. One of those brutal, late season games is what I want to try. I did get to see them in Liberty Bowl Stadium against the Oilers/Titans. Steve McNair was from my hometown so I wanted Buffalo to win 50-49 with McNair having 7 TD passes. But, the Oilers/Titans won and Steve sucked that day so I left 0-2.

KC for about 15 years. But I’m not a good fan. I watch maybe 2 or 3 games a year. The death of MSU football has soured my viewing experience for all football.

Sounds a bit like me. If CFB is on, no matter who is playing, that's what I'm watching. Otherwise I'm a casual follower of the NFL and have rotated teams based on where I was living.
Started as a Cardinals fan .... of the St Louis type
Moved to central FL and onto the "creamsicle" Bucs of the mid to late 80s
Skipped over the Falcons in Augusta
Finally got to a little more than "keeping up with" with the Bengals in Cincy over 20+ years
Back In MS so generally follow our former players if they are on

If pushed, I'd say the Bengals.

Of the places I've lived with NFL teams, the coverage crushes anything CFB, including Ohio State. Curious what's it's like in Jacksonville given the dominance of FL, FSU and UM in the state and relatively small market of J'ville?

Grew up a fan of the Vikings, the steel curtain defense and mainly Jack Lambert made me a Steelers fan but I honestly haven't kept up with the NFL since the mid 80's.

Memphis Oilers.
Man went to those oilers games in a Memphis that year and it was glorious. Bloodies in the parking lot. Beers all day. Midtown bars afterwards. We sat on the front row and made friends with the the cheerleaders. They may or may not have come partied at my place that year.

Watched the Saints every Sunday win or lose, mainly lose, for about 40+ years. Got interested in Cowboys when Dak was drafted. Started losing interest with Kaepernick and kneeling. Haven't watched any games in probably 5+ years and no longer have any damns, 17s, or shats to give about e NFL at all.

Kansas City........ (even before Maholmes took over) and back to the days when Hank Stram was the coach. BTW, got to walk and talk with him at the old Memphis Colonial Country Club during a Pro Am day. Colonial was where the St. Jude Classic used to be before they moved to the new TPC at Southwind. I actually liked Colonial better than Southwind and got to play it one time back in the day. Fred Couples said after they moved the tourney to Southwind that he would never play there. He loved Colonial and wanted it to stay there. And true to his word, he has never played TPC Southwind to this day.

I grew up a Falcons fan and my dad a Saints fan. Made for some memorable Sunday's. Once he died I started pulling for them, too, in memory of him. I hate he didn't get to see them win their Super Bowl. I keep hoping the Falcons get another chance after the way they Amber Heard the bed against the Patriots.

Cowboys, since the 1960’s. Living about 80 miles from New Orleans, I have tried to adopt the Saints as my second favorite team, but never could make that work. I really lost interest in the NFL back when players were kneeling, etc. but never could completely get away from it. I was a very avid college football fan for years, but with the NIL/transfer portal I’ve pretty much stopped following it-I’ve watched less than a half-dozen college football games over the past 3 years. I don’t see that changing, either. I may not watch a single one this coming season. I graduated from State and I was always watching or listening when we were playing but I have zero interest these days. The powers-that-be have completely ruined the game for me and a lot of others, too.
