The floor is open for nominations.
You’re a real jackass. This isn’t the time to start calling out the negative fans. The entire fanbase is in shock, but you can’t help yourself.

Don’t you have obituaries to scan of people that are irrelevant to RU athletics?

Good morning. I was wondering when you would post something important and informative. Looks like I will still have to wait a little longer.
As I've mentioned before you are always free to hit the ignore button when it comes to me. Come back when what you post will matter to me. That should be....never.
The only thing that disappoints me is that you didn't use one of your cute little nicknames that you use to address people like Gus, Clyde, Guy, Jack, Genius or Max to name a few. I'm guessing that makes you feel like you're cool.
Keep up the good work.

Everybody is sick over this. Your first move is to start picking on people because they tend to be negative? Why right now? You do realize fans do tend to be negative? Try listening to Philly talk radio for 5 minutes. Maybe wait a few days before you start a fight. BTW - I’m not one of the negative posters and I still find you offensive.

No one is starting a fight here. Just read the responses to the thread. Apparently most of our fans see this as the good natured jab it was intended to be at those who are negative the majority of the time.
Thanks for the tip regarding Philly talk radio. Never in a million years would I have thought that Philly fans can be negative.
The fact that you find this offensive tells us more about you than about me.
BTW I'm still waiting for a post from you that is either informative, insightful and/or entertaining. Have a suspicion that it would be a long wait. Now have your warm milk and tuck yourself in. Must be way past your bedtime.

It was not a good natured jab. It was you just being an ahole.

You are precious with your cutting comments. Thanks for reading my mind.
I would like to state, for the record, that despite the dislike and vitriol (I know, you're going to have to look that up) directed toward me I have never once called you a name or said anything disparaging (sorry, there's another one) about you.
But I guess if that's the way you were brought up you're not to blame.
Looking forward to more of your playful banter.

I look forward to your next R.I.P. for let’s say a University of Georgia baseball player from the 60s, who once drove through NJ on his way to NYC, which you will try to rationalize as newsworthy to the board. That’s what morbid, freakshow, virgins like you do to entertain yourself.

Nice try but way off. Now get going. I can hear your microwave bell. Your Hungry Man dinner is ready.
My only question is why is your Mom letting you stay up so late? You're going to be late for homeroom tomorrow. I'm guessing your parents always excused your behavior because they use to tell you how "special" you were.

It’s a hard game to predict. 1 seeds often lose in these games because it’s really tough to shake the disappointment of missing the field.

I like the draw in the sense that Hofstra won at San Jose State and Charleston. I hope we bring our A game and make a quiet statement that the few games we played against Q3 types simply wasn’t a big enough sample. We’ll see.

People really think Rutgers is going to play with the same intensity it did in the Big Ten tournament? Come on now. I hope RU can put together a little run to take a little of the sting of the NCAA snub away, but would anyone be surprised if they lay an egg and the season is over at 9 p.m tomorrow night?

I'm sorry but if like half the fan base could care less about the NIT and your fellow rival Michigan just turned diwn the NIT, do you really think most of the players will care about these games?.

Exactly. 1 seed NIT teams do 1 of 2 things: take the disrespect personally and go deep in the NIT, or mentally check out and lose to some scrub in Round 1. With the mental makeup of this team there is a strong chance the team quits and loses to Hofstra.

The "mentally check out" sounds like the excuse SEC football teams use when they lose to Cincy in a NYD bowl game.
Excuse or not, many teams and players wanted to play in the real tournament and if they don't get in either stop caring or just want the season to end. 1 seed NIT team just quitting on the season has happened before and will happen again.

Hard to say how a lot of the teams will react in the NIT.
Look at Hofstra, they were a big favorite to win their championship game and make the NCAAs. They then lay an egg and lose in OT. What will be their state of mind?

Exactly. I'm in the camp that the NIT is a waste of time outside of getting our younger players legit playing time. I'd treat it like the preseason.

Why does thinking your team will always win having anything to do how much of a fan you are?

Why does thinking your team doesn’t deserve to be in the NCAA make you not a fan or a troll?

If we had fan meters I’d be pretty darn high relative to most.

I have no clue where our players head will be. If we don’t play hard and have to rely on our natural abilities and shooting I don’t like our chances. I’d think Hofstra will be playing like it the NCAAs.

If our players tomorrow play with 70% intensity they get a FREE PASS from me. Every fan has different standards. Our players worked incredibly hard this year, many playing through injuries. If most fans can't get up for NIT games how can the players.

In the spirit of positive negativity I predict Hofsta will win 100 to 2. Defense checks out, cliff misses 32 dunks and Caleb shoots and misses 40 3 point shots. Africa by toto is played the entire game to placate the crowd with our bench giving a sterling performance to the song.

In all seriousness I hope the team plays well and takes the opportunity to prove the committee wrong. I think we get to the final 4 of the nit.

We should start calling you Baghdad Block, UM is a 2 seed in the NIT but you keep repeating this fake news in multiple threads. And you wonder why everyone calls you out.
