Care to put money on that "mark it down"? because I would be willing to bet money that Gameday won't be in EITHER place. Much less both places...
Well I think both Oxford and Starkville will be in the discussion if both teams start off 5-0. If OM gets by the first two games of the season 2-0 then they should be 5-0 going into the Alabama (who will also be 5-0) game. MSU has a much harder road to starting 5-0 but if they do then the Auburn game could be a possibility. I'm just not sure Auburn will live up to their end of the bargain.

Jemmye Carroll of MTV Real World fame for the Auburn Game. Corso puts on AU Tiger mascot head. Jimmye says have yall seen my kitty it's got tatoos and gives Fowler and Herbsteit a quick upskirt peek behind the desk. Fowler lays head on desk, Herbsteit falls out of chair laughing, and Corso says I couldn't see I couldn't see do it again. Goes to kick off.

I busted out laughing.

It's true though. Clower is probably our only ever "famous" fan.

True, and even he actually played football at MSU though he became famous for something totally different. Should have used Brantley, at least he has become a pretty big time broadcaster past his playing days.

Smoot. He's appeared on a few espn shows and is known by most football fans.

I'm not sure that gameday will be in Starkville but if they do, it'll be against Auburn I think.

Without looking at any other games, I think our game against LSU could be a good one for gameday.

Gotta be Fred Smoot. He's so charismatic, plus any MSU groups looking for a speaker need to contact him and try to book him, very pro MSU and lots of good MSU stories to tell.

You have all missed what ESPN would do in this situation. They would call in a 'celebrity' picker. No ties to the school who would stumble through their reading from notes about how good Yak Precote is and how special of a coach Danny Mollen is.

Don't forget how many times they would refer to us as the Mississippi State Rebels or Ole Miss Bulldogs.
