We all would love for them to win this one but UConn is not in the same category as the teams we have played and beat.
So in my humble opinion (and I am usually wrong) Mbaye gets in the game not because we are winning but because the game got out of hand.

Pirates by 5. Like 79-74, 83-78. We come back late but I think we will play better and not go more than 6-8 pts behind. We play like we did in Maui. The starters have it tomorrow. (so does the bench.) Balanced scoring.
And if they take it to us, i will be disappointed, but not see the season ending. An all time great SHU team once went to Cuse at the top of the world, got their *** kicked, and went forward. (Not comparing the teams; just saying a loss, even a bad loss, doesnt spell doom.)

I think the Pirates will need to shoot lights out to win this one, but I don't predict it. I think we can hustle our way to keep it relatively close. I'll go:

I like this perspective, hadn’t considered that they’ve looked past us the past years, and this year they may have to consider us a threat. A completely different scenario.
But I think they will underestimate the strength of our defense, probably take a decent lead into the half, then we go to work.
the pressure wears them down ( fat happy teams don’t train like hungry ones) and we cause havoc and turnovers, and the tide turns,
will we close the gap ?

Uconn is great, arguably the best team in the land but to me they operate as a finesse team. They dont like to bang nor be banged. If the refs lets us play seton hall ball this will be close. Maybe a buzzer beater either way..
