Yes he stayed too long, but he got us a title, 3 FF's and a runner up. Then when he did move on he did it without costing the university a huge buyout. I just see so many posters taking glee in him losing. I don't know I just don't get it.
I don't hate him, but sick and tired of people bringing him up, he left us, he is arrogant, he has been shown by multiple experts to be unchanging and that todays game has started passing him by, plus he burnt every bridge he had at UK by pissing off most of the donors, refused to even talk to the administration. Insulted Stoops and football. Glad Tyson bought him.

Repeating all the Matt Jones talking points per usual with the vague unammed booster included.

I don't hate him, but his motivations were out of whack for the University of Kentucky IMO. While I think he cared about UK, his primary motives were mostly self-serving.

It’s reciprocal. He hates the fans.

This! In fact, it was quite the opposite intent by CCC of “helping out Kentucky.” Cal tried to leverage the offer from Arkansas to get more money from Kentucky, and it backfired. By talking to Arkansas without informing the AD, Cal dug his own grave with his arrogance, thinking he was untouchable.

as I understand it was more of a power play than that. Cal tried to be Roy Williams at Kansas getting rid of the AD. He wanted Peavey from DePaul and thought he had the political clout to pull it off, his own yes man as the AD letting him Shaedon Sharpe the program all he wanted.

I don't even listen to Matt Jones, repeating what I saw, what I was told from friends who work at UK. So go troll some other team, I bet this is one of Cal's kids
