After Mullen State has hired Croom, Moorehead, Leach, Arnett and Lebby. Can someone tell me who in this group made any difference in previous coaching (I can take Leach out of this question), Point is that talent evaluation of potential SEC level coaching is really disgsting. This athletic staff cannot seem to get it in their heads that experience matters... and not hiring proven assistants (Mullen for example) will not work. We would be more inclined to let someone who has proven themselves at a lower level coaching situation because we know he did it somewhere else. But both Selmon and Lebby ARE NOT SEC LEVEL!!!

Hiring Croom after Mullen was indeed a confusing move.
To be fair if Mullen had started Bond his sophmore year we would have beaten Ok St.
In a previous post, he said he was the sports editor for the Reflector in the early 1980’s.
Allyn McKeen just couldn't figure out how to use Fitzgerald.
