I'm just curious to what people really think his reason was to go to Ole Miss. I welcome Bear fans to vote.

cause I think the decommit was to see what was available out there. He could have easily still made his visits without a formal decommit.

There was a post on Nafoom (that was later linked here) from one of those Ole Miss guys that alluded to shocking news of who would be signing with Ole Miss, and he was referring to CJ Johnson. That post was made on Dec. 30.<div>
</div><div>Manny Diaz was hired at Texas on January 5.</div>

Diaz and Hud left, and all his"boys" are committing toUM.

It's not that hard to believe, really, if you think back to being a senior in high school and can remember where your prioritities were.

Money? maybe. I've just had a belly full of conspiracy theories lately.

none of the above. He is going to ole miss because Ole miss has put so many players in the league in the last 5 years
and MSU doesnt put many players in the league, Johnson wants to be the next Pat Willis.

on that scratch and sniff defense if he actually lives up to his word and signs with TSUN. The problem is we have the water engineer program at MSU. How is he going to work that out? I just don't see them going to the Bourbon Bowl next season.

You really believe Manny didn't start dealing with Texas until AFTER the bowl game? You really think UT held off on their search until AFTER MSU played in the Gator? You really think certain people didn't know Manny's deal with UT wasn't signed, sealed and delivered well before MSU even left for Jxnville?

I have never had a bad piece of ***. It's all good and I don't care what you say. Plus there are as many good looking women at state as there are at Ole Miss. Really how many can one guy do? Plenty to go around. If ***** was a factor, South Florida and Central Florida would beplaying for the National Championship every year.

because I know this boards concenus but I think MSU thought they had him as a lock and laid off his recruitment a bit. First Mullen mistake. We also lost our starting MLB'er- that always helps. And of course, losing Diaz didn't help MSU.

Mullen wasn't "showin da love" as the kids like to say. Didn't Moncrief say the same thing?

Story from the '60's. My family moved here from California about 4 months after the Civil Rights murders in Philadelphia. My mom went up tothere to get a couch re-upholstered. The old guy, hearing my mom's midwestern accent, told her, "You ain't one of them Civil Rights people, are you?" Mom replied, "No, I just want to get my chair re-upholstered". He replied, "Well, folks 'round here are the nicest folks in the world, but if you get them mad they'll kill you."
