Bray has to be the most overrated QB in the SEC. If you look back at every game in his career, he has never beaten a legit SEC team and furthermore has never won on the road in the SEC. The last two seasons he is 0-3 on the road, with a 50% completion percentage 6 TD's and 7 Ints. I didnt look up the fumbles, but I do know there are some in there.

Bottom line is he beats up on the weaker teams, which in turn inflates his stats. You would have to be crazy to take him in the first round like some people are projecting. In any event, we have to get some pressure all night long if we want to win. That seems to be the recipe for success.

My opinion is that he impresses with his arm strength and would have better stats but for an awful supporting cast. If we score with them with sustained drives for three quarters, then pick him off late, we shouldbe able to close the dealwith time to spare. Turn it over ourselves and we could lose just as easily.

Well, except for the fact Shuler was a winner in college. Bray is tall and has a good arm, so people drool over him. But he's a headcase and he chokes every time he gets into any kind of a pressure situation. Just look at the UGA game. He turned the ball over twice in the last 2 minutes when they had a chance to win.

He has a cannon for an arm and he throws a beautiful long ball. It's JaMarcus Russell fools gold. I doubt anyone throws a better 60 yard bomb than Bray. This is the one thing that scares me about UT and Bray. At any point in the game he can out throw the coverage and Hunter can outrun most DB. The juco WR for them is no slouch either (Patterson I think). They have 2 NFL WR and a dumbass with an NFL arm. Zach Rogers and Rajon Neal are good players as well. UT is dangerous on offense.

Bray, with time, is a great quarterback. But, Bray is not good under pressure which is kind of important. He's also as fragile as a twig. I think on a practice field he probably shows as one of the best QBs in the nation but when you turn the lights on and tighten the chin strap he's just a guy who throws it up for grabs more often than not.

Go watch the first half of the UT UF game and see why he is considered so good. Watch the second half to see why he is overrated.

He may not be good under pressure, but the question is, can we apply pressure? I haven't seen our defense put a whole lot of pressure on any QB we've played so far, except maybe the Auburn QB.
