Also, they finished higher than Mississippi State in the 2011 BCS standings.

I'm not making an argument that they were better than us this year. It's just arrogant to claim that our program is leaps and bounds better than theres.

Is NIU a better program than Michigan, Nebraska, etc. because they finished ahead in the BCS this year?
