I was shocked when I saw the schedule

RU plays Rider but not Seton Hall?
We play them regularly. When we were in the big east obviouslly we played them. We have been playing them since. Last year we didnt and this year we arent. We play monmouth and rider mid week. I dont know if they are on the schedule again, however hasnt been a deliberate thing, apparently.

It's straight up dumb for the schools to not play each other

As I said we played them after leaving the conference. I agree that we should be playing them, however it is nowhere near most important issue on the list. I dont care about anything with rutgers baseball until the coach is replaced. Even the stadium or lack of is nothing.

Just excited to follow RU (Rowan) baseball this season. If you never followed NJAC Baseball your missing out. Every game is streamed for free. Rowan is currently ranked #2 in D3 and return 2 of the top pitchers in country. I never followed anything D3 until one of my employees during summer started playing for Rowan.

Rowans top 2 pitchers would start for Rutgers

Is it possible that the financial situation for baseball players at NJAC programs is better than at Rutgers? I’ve seen a number of Ramapo College baseball games, as well as Rutgers games, over the last decade. The level of play in the NJAC is excellent for the Div-III level and compares favorably with Rutgers, especially when it comes to pitching.

There’s a big difference between D1 & D3, but you are probably right that the top players on the best teams could probably play D1 ball at a lot of schools, including RU.

Could there be bad blood between the programs since Cundari made the move here?

Worth noting that the Pirates lost 3 straight to Ohio State to open the season. Odd that they would play a series with an out-of-state Big Ten opponent, ignoring one a bus ride away.

I believe that SHU doesn't want to play us any more since their former pitching coach took the same position at RU last year.
