This article makes the whole situation sound so sad, as if he has a horrible fate. Instead, he's about to turn 40 and he has a billion dollars or so. And yet because he can no longer play golf at a high level it's supposed to be a terrible thing?
He won 14 majors, lot of tournaments, lots of money and he's still only 40 and has a half century to do whatever he wants, including making an entirely new and different career in any field he wants.
Why would an independently wealthy man that has spent his 20s and 30s playing great golf want to spend his 40s playing bad golf?
