Im more puzzled that Evan was actually in a game. Also, Im done with Ross in key situations. Gimme Girado Fitts and Bracewell please.

I believe we've over-used the 17 outta Ross Mitchell and it finally caught up to him.
I'll take his percentage of good outings...and bring him in with a lead instead. Psychologically, if there's not a lead to protect, it's not a fully focused deal for a relief pitcher...same as with Holder, mostly, his very few bad outings has been in non-save situations.
Fitts? He hasn't gotten enough innings to get a read on how consistent he could be.

Ross has the worst SEC FIP (look it up) on the team. He had really good luck early and it was obviously unsustainable. I predicted his struggles before they even started. Google "Ross Mitchell: better lucky than good"
We lack power arms in the pen to get strikeouts. Girodo and Bracewell are average at this. We have lived off getting the double play and now they are not coming. I still have no clue why we won't pitch Shelly.
