The doppleganger effect.Because speed travels faster.
Any win right now is a good win.Actually, a good win.
So the picture is delayed but the sound isn't?It's something to do with them calling the game from watching the monitor rather than the field. The sound is live, while they are slightly delayed by the TV. I think.
They are in the ballpark but watching a monitor that is delayed. So when you hear the bat crack that’s the sound from the field while they are calling the game from the delayed monitor. They hear the bat crack as well they just ignore it and keep calling the game from the monitor. So the picture is delayed but the sound isn't?
So you are saying that the microphones they are using to announce this delayed video are picking up the live sound from the field also? If they are that sensitive they better not fart while they are near them. The fans cheering don't seem to be out of sync though. They are in the ballpark but watching a monitor that is delayed. So when you hear the bat crack that’s the sound from the field while they are calling the game from the delayed monitor. They hear the bat crack as well they just ignore it and keep calling the game from the monitor.
That makes sense because I have noticed that missed time when they switch cameras. Still pretty amazing that it happens. Is the signal from the centerfield camera connected by satellite and all the rest are wired? This is the multi-verse.You are all wrong. The one camera in center field is delayed. All the other cameras and the audio are in sync and ahead of the center field camera, while the single outfield camera is on a delay. It is why they kept trying to use the other cameras, except none of them gave you a view of the strike zone, so they continued to use it. So when they would cut away from the center field camera (which is behind in time) for a hit , you would miss the swing, hit, catch, etc. because the other cameras are ahead in the action. Totally unwatchable.
