why is the media pointing at Cam?

Bonds statement During the 2009 football season, I was contacted by a former football teammate, who represented to me that he was speaking for the Newton camp. He told me that Cam Newton wanted to play at Mississippi State, but that a specified payment would have to be made.

i want to know that former football teammate, if it is not kenny rodgers, the media should be busting *** to find the name of that source

all the media has right now
bond said teammate said he wanted cash
teammate name kenny rodgers
kenny said he hasn't talked to bond
bond said kenny hasn't talked to him
we don't know the teammate

cecil has said he didn't ask or accept money for his son to play at auburn
cam has said he didn't ask or accept money to play at auburn
we don't have any money changing hands
cam has been alleged to be dishonest

was reported to the SEC and NCAA last December. Someone heard about it because the NCAA is just now getting around to investigating the issue and wrote a story about it because that'swhat their job is, they are called journalists. The NCAA will determine if any wrong doing happened. Everything else is rumor and innuendo.

John Bond never said jack about Auburn or Cecil Newton. However it appears that the Newton's are a couple of sketchy individuals. I'm glad he didn't come to play at State. We'd have ended up with the Death Penalty from getting involved with those two.
