If Rutgers goes 1-2 or even 0-2,why isn't this possible, since Auburn and West Virginia have variously been listed there are as the last 2-3 byes,avoiding the play in game?
If there's some kind of positive out of last night, this would be it. Although still not that likely of going to Albany as an 11.

If they go 0-2 they’re going to miss it. You’ve said this team is squarely in the tourney, that is not the case

My son and I were discussing this. As long as we make the big dance, then going into it as a 10 or 11 (as long as it’s not a “first four” in Dayton) might be preferable to being an 8 or 9, because we can win our first round game and face a 2 or 3 in the second round instead of a 1.
