That would be fine across the front of the jersey, but not on a helmet. Selmon actually sat down for 45 minutes yesterday with a message board poster from the paid site on this platform and discussed bringing back the interlocking on the helmet, which should have never been taken away. Sounds like good progress was made there as well. They talked about putting something like the above on the front of the jersey and using the interlocking for the helmet to meet his goal of branding “State” on our uniforms.
Interesting. This would be a win-win that I think 90%+ of the fans would be OK with. Even if they put the &tate logo on the front of the jerseys, I'd be totally fine with that, even though I hate the logo.

Because it seemed like a reasonable concession for the folks who are into that. Because I'm OK with a changing helmet logo, I don't really have an issue with it.
Not sure what I'm contradicting here.
We need to put something on the front of the jersey. We look exactly like the generic Dr. Pepper commercial currently. It's a terrible look. People can say it doesn't matter all they want, but looking like a G5 program uniform wise matters with perception. We have a great classic look that the administration took away from us and we have been changing things for 20 years to try and reinvent the wheel when the answer is right in front of our face. The classic teams in this league and throughout the country don't do this crap. They found a great look a long time ago and other than very minor adjustments leave it alone. It's not hard and yet we make it so.
This is perfect. It fits the criteria that the AD wants to brand and it gives us our best helmet logo by ten thousand miles.
You're in the minority, per every poll ever done in this fanbase.

There is a poster on the premium board that actually met with Selmon about this yesterday (Monday 11/4).
If you call running into Selmon at a ball game a meeting..... I've met with him as well.
Interlocking will ALWAYS be the best logo on the helmet
