WHY the stupid rule if you announce a game...

You can't pick it in the pregame show? I was watching SEC Nation and she reminds Jordan he can't pick the LSU game. I know it's a rule but it is so dumb. Like the announcer influences the game? Like every fan in the country doesn't already believe the announcers are rooting for the other team? My God humans are so dumb.

I agree it's dumb. But I guess it's partly a rule because fans are idiots and would try to burn an announcer at the stake for picking against their team.

My favorite thing back in the day was trying to figure out what Musberger had bet each game he called.

Because if he picked Mississippi State to beat Off and during the game Mississippi State was actually beating Off. all the message board posters on Off’s On3 free message board would have their panties in a wad. Next thing you know Offglfr would wax philosophical and further piss off half the Off board and get the thread locked upsetting the posters who weren’t originally upset with Offglfr’s original post.
