There are a lot of very talented players on that list. So yes, I'd say you proved the point that Stans could recruit very well. Thank you. Now keeping all of them or them staying out of trouble was another matter. But there is no doubt that Stans was a great recruiter, especially when you consider that he was recruiting them to small town Starkville and a program that didn't even have a practice facility.

Hmmm I see your point but I consider it bad recruiting if you miss on that many players that you sign.

When you look at the history of MSU basketball, he won a good number of games with that crew, so if he was guilty of bad recruiting, he must have been doing something else right.

The last five Stansbury teams ranked 2, 22, 9, 75, and 175 in the country in field goal percentage defense. His last year and his second year were the two years our defense was really bad. 75th is mediocre. 2nd, 22nd, and 9th is really good.

I did the research on this before, and the thirties and forties in ranking were generally good enough to be first or second in the SEC. Florida is currently first in the SEC at 20th.

To put this in context, we are currently 220th in field goal percentage defense. Worse than Stansbury's worst defensive team.

He didn't have MSU in the tournament more often than not. How in the world is he going to do better at Auburn??
