Purdue almost beats Michigan St. Iowa beats Wisconsin. Indiana holding their own with Ohio St. I'm not saying we need to win these games but can we at least be somewhat competitive? If RU gets blown out in these games will the Flood lovers finally come to their senses? Purdue, Indiana and Iowa should not be that much better than us but if RU's below average coaching staff shows up at these games with the same BS gameplan they will lose by 40.

Hey your a Flood lover I get it. I supported him the last 3 years also but enough is enough. The sooner you realize that he is better served as an assistant at a DII program the better.

I'm not a Flood lover, if RU can improve the program by bringing in an obvious upgrade at HC, I say go for it ! But not an unproven Assistant . RU had one clunker, against Penn St , with no secondary, no def line, no Carroo, a bad night for the O line, and no HC. Wash St could have went either way, we beat the other 2 as we should. Let the season play out. Things will improve as the secondary gets some experience, the O line jells (hopefully), and possibly Caroo comes back. Now the QB ? Thats a whole other story. I prefer Rettig at least get a shot, he looked pretty good in the first half of Norfolk St.

Rutgers must be competitive this year. The way we lost to Penn State I have serious doubts.
Next week's game is a MUST WIN. We are well rested. MSU played today and has to travel to NJ next week.
Forget the rankings. These are kids and our kids better figure how to win next Saturday.
No excuses.

My formula for a win against MSU. Without a heads up to the press, at kickoff we find out Caroo has been reinstated, Rettig runs out to start the game w the first team, crowd goes crazy, O line is pumped up for best game of the young season, Mera & Turay gain full health during the bye week, secondary displays even more improvement, and DC Rossi has a great, Aggressive game plan. also, we put Ex Lax in their locker room water .

Nice.

In all seriousness, yes RU will be showing up Just not Rutgers. In light of all the troubles, the Rutgers football team has just inked a deal to outsource the rest of the season to Rowan. After reading this board, they have decided that the Profs have a better chance against literally everyone else in FBS, and the southern part of the state felt they weren't being well represented nationwide. So RU will see you on the field! WHOOO RU?
