For one, I think Mirando is one of our better recruiters which we need. I think another year and he will be responsible for pulling in some talented players for us. He is a likableguy and is young which helps him to relate to recruits. People say our Wr's suck because of him but do they? No doubt Bumphis numbers are down but Clark's and Smith's numbers are up along with the addition of Lewis, Johnson and Sanders...<div>
</div><div>Just some stats that I'm going to throw out to people that think Mirando is the problem with our receivers getting open...</div><div>
</div><div>Last seasons stats through 13 games: Rushing Yards: 2793, Rushing TD's: 28, Passing Yards: 2424, Passing TD's: 18. </div><div>
</div><div>This season through 11 games:Rushing Yards: 1779, Rushing TD's: 15, Passing Yards: 2165, Passing TD's: 16</div><div>
</div><div>It's not hard to see what the problem is. I think most people like to blame Mirando, because Bumphis numbers are down but in reality we just have some other players stepping up and the ball is getting spread around more. Last season we had 7 players with 100 yards or more receiving. This season we currently have 9 and if Carr wouldn't have left the team we would have 10 players with over a 100 yards receiving. Now I'm not saying Mirando has made our receivers better but he sure hasn't made them any worse, especially when you had the run game last year setting up a lot of 1 on 1 for our receivers because teams were filling the box with 8 and 9 players. While this season, we are seeing a lot of teams not loading up the box because our OL play is much weaker causing some of our receivers being doubled up and not allowing us to make the big plays this season. I will also add that we have missed a bunch of opportunities this season with our receivers getting open down field and either Relf or Russell would over throw the receiver or under throw the ball. I just think there is a lot of unwarranted blame put on Mirando when it comes to our receivers getting open. </div>
