Saw a supposed schedule for TU longhorns on fb had them playing uk in Austin. What a nightmare if true.
Yep. Austin is one of those road trips where you arrive on Wednesday and leave on Sunday.Nightmare?
Sounds like a dream to me.
We have to play them there once every 4 years. They will have to play in Lexington once every 4 years. The schedule should be fairly balanced for all teams as long as they make the 3 permanent rivals fair for each programs level.
I'm all for a fair and set schedule in conference. I am curious what will happen with the other sports too.
the problem is we shoulda went for two!I was there when we played at A&M on 10.06 in 2018. Beautiful evening. What's the supposed problem?
Every SEC opponent will visit Lexington at least once in four years. We will probably go there 4or 5 years in a row. I am sure we will get 1 game here every 10 years.
I was just joking but we went to A&M they never returned the game.Every SEC opponent will visit Lexington at least once in four years.

Everyone should be excited to have trips too and visits from Texas, Oklahoma, A&M, LSU, Auburn, Bama regularly that we don't get now. 12 damn years, not 1 Texas A&M game in Lexington.
Lol. Play a normal sec schedule plus @TU?? Yeah that’s a dream come trueNightmare?
Sounds like a dream to me.
While we are at it can we please play Tenn/Vandy sometime other than November and Florida sometime other than September??? It's tired and old as well. Florida needs to get their azz up here for a game in a freezer sometime.I'm all for and expanded conference and schedule where we cycle through teams more often.
The old conferences and their worn-out schedules were getting stale. Everyone knows it. Infuse a couple big brand programs and tweak the schedule to where everyone is playing one another more often...things are about to take off.
It's great for the program to be able to play in Texas in front of Texas talent and maybe establish some recruiting connections. There's a lot of 3-star talent in Texas that would be 4 and 5 stars in most other states.
Bringing Sooner fans and Long Horn fans into Lexington for football, basketball, baseball...that's huge for the town.
Softball hosted sooners last year. You wouldn't believe how they showed up...you'd have thought the pope was in town. I know they were #1 and have a great softball program...but damn it was insane...that on a football scale, whoa nelly...
Cycling through LSU, Bama, Auburn etc and having them in town more often will be great as well.
Yeah.I was just joking but we went to A&M they never returned the game.
They need to experience football in it’s traditional setting: frost on the Ole’ pumpkin. . . . Woooha, Nellie. While we are at it can we please play Tenn/Vandy sometime other than November and Florida sometime other than September??? It's tired and old as well. Honestly, Notre Dame might be the only FBS team/program that could say “no,” and still profit, thereby.Almost all of them
Yep. And time may change that. In college football the SEC is really all that matters.Honestly, Notre Dame might be the only FBS team/program that could say “no,” and still profit, thereby.
I will I miss the Golden Dome Yanks?
Oh, hell, no!!
Frankly, you are absolutely correct, but it’s kind of odd hearing the truth from someone who is a fan of one of the historic “haves” in the SEC.SEC has never looked for parity, watching how games are officiated should show that to anyone.
Yes.I once doubted Stoops and I apologize. He's building us for this. I never thought we would be in this position in football. I remember the one and two win seasons. Now we are routinely beating teams like Penn State in bowl games.
But some would rather have LV visit every other year.Every SEC opponent will visit Lexington at least once in four years.
Thank CM for this getting changed. We use to put them in the shade to freeze them. They need to experience football in it’s traditional setting: frost on the Ole’ pumpkin. . . . Woooha, Nellie.
I would agree from years back but I just haven’t seen it the last few years.Frankly, you are absolutely correct, but it’s kind of odd hearing the truth from someone who is a fan of one of the historic “haves” in the SEC.
Many will disagree with me, but I think I have seen UK get a favorable whistle in a lot of close basketball games, because UK is “supposed” to win in the SEC.
Yes, Higgins and a couple of others have noticeably screwed us in round-ball, but by-and-large . . . .

Frankly, with the exception of the PAC 12 officials who tossed Bennie in the MCB in 2016, I have few specific complaints the last few years. You don't know what bad calls are.
Why would it be a nightmare?Saw a supposed schedule for TU longhorns on fb had them playing uk in Austin. What a nightmare if true.
Expansion frightens every school, and expansion frightens some of our fans. But expansion is inevitable because bigger, stronger conferences hold negotiating leverage with networks. This is big bucks.Yep. And time may change that. In college football the SEC is really all that matters.
I've heard some rumblings that Oklahoma is waffling a bit on the on the conference switch. They need to look to the future and not the past.
