Providence did not greatly overachieve pre-season expectations, they greatly underachieved, especially considering their NIL. Should I continue?

So give tier 4’s coaches eternity to figure it out? Holtmann is trying get out of a hole that was as close to 6 feet under as you can get. He’s basically got to build a fan base after 20 years of disaster. otherwise if I was a fan of Butler or X, I would want results of getting to the ncaas within 4 to 5 years. Can’t imagine why SHU wouldn’t have that as a benchmark. Is the goal to make the tournament or just not embarrass ourselves. If the goal is to not embarrass ourselves because we have a low payroll I completely understand. If it’s to make the ncaa tournament, then I just don’t get it.

People want to live in this world like they’re Kevin Bacon in Animal House yelling “Remain calm, All is well” when it’s not if missing the tournament 4 years in a row stinks, if showing up to a 60% empty building despite what the box score says stinks, student turn out is as low as it’s ever been. if you say what your eyes see and don’t lean on we overachieved the preseason poll of last place or you don’t blame NIL for everything you have an agenda. As for a long winded post, my longest post is always shorter than your shortest post. As for NIL budget I’ll take SPKs numbers that we were 7th.

Enlighten me, which part is inaccurate of what I said, 0-4 in making the tournament? The Prudential center is less than half full regardless of what the box score says? The student section is as empty as we've seen it in decades? Heck corner to corner on the baselines are practically empty, you can have your own section if you want on weeknight game. In general there's no excitement besides the 200 people on here. It's sad. My sincerest apologies for wanting to be in the NCAA tournament badly and viewing NIL as a hurdle and not the final nail in the coffin.
