Kiffin isnt making many friends amongst the SEC coaches (at least the one he has not hired). Frank Wilson can kiss my *** too.

The last I checked Kiffin was supposed to be hiring the best staff possible. Not making friends with other coaches around the league

I think he gets the whole recruiting matters idea. Those might be the 3 best recruiters in the SEC.

not been for him, Lane Kiffin would not know who in the 17 Frank Wilson is...or WAS, in our case.

I said to myself I would never get so pissed off about football after I graduated college. I break that promise every season so in that regard, I hope Wilson gets caught giving Orgeron a hummer and they both are excommunicated from the coaching world.

Some Tennessee fans on another board are saying Eddie Gran has been hired as RB coach. What would Wilson do?

This whole state of affairs w/Wilson really stinks. His part for just not making up his mind, & UT for doing this crap.

3 (or so, can't remember) years at Ole Miss, 1 year at USM, and 4 weeks at MSU.

**********.

You would think we would make these coaches sign a contract stating they have to perform one year of service before accepting offer. </p>

He was committed all fall to group of coached that all go fired. Why would this be any different?
He was going to visit USM because of Wilson and then said he viewed our hiring of him as "a sign from God" that he was supposed to stick with State. Will he view this as a sign to go to UT? Who knows.

That will not win him or Kiffin a lot of respect in the coaching community. What a sack of **** they both are.

This will probably hurt us more with prospects Ricky Johnson and Deron Wilson than it will with Montrell Conner.

I was hoping for Ricky Johnson as a very good replacement for Pat Patterson.

Kind of hard to thing highly of a 17er who jumps at the opportunity to take any job other than the one he has.

One a separate note Kiffin is putting together a staff that is long on recruiters and short on coaches. I can't help but wonder if we aren't going to see another situation like the one at Ole Miss when Orgeron was there. Either way though those bastards are going to be pulling in some serious talent and will inevitably still some in-state recruits from us and Ole Miss.

How long was he a coach with us? 4 weeks maybe? I agree with DS....this does suck big time!!!

Our new DL coach hire had been an assistant at Iowa State for just over 2 weeks, so I don't think this is too odd in the coaching world. That said, it's got to be weird for recruits, especially if they are being recruited by the same guy for 3 different schools in a year.

Thanks a lot, Ole Miss, for plugging Coach O into the SEC coaching community. I wish that sorry sack of **** had stayed on the west coast.

Now Wardlaw says not to rule a MSU counteroffer out. Says Wilson is in the office today and not yet out the door. Apparently UT has put about $200,000 on the table.

He also said he felt Wilson was gone. We don't need or want to get in a bidding war for a RB coach. What is going be bad is if the hire Thigpen as well, which is why the delay in annoucing him at State. Hughes could be the next to come on board if UT gets Thigpen.
