What county is growing? Every school has dropped with the exception of Robbinsville and they stayed the same!!

Union had gone 2A to 3A but are back 2A now. Copper Basin, Fannin and Towns have stayed about the same for years. Andrews and Hayesville are both down 50 or so students from 10-15 years ago. And Murphy doesn't even have Chick Fil A or Cook Out!

Union went to 3A because of football they may have grown a little bit that was solely an athletic decision.

For me Chick Fil A is massively overrated. Zaxbys, Bojangles and KFC are enough chicken fast food joints. Cook Out would be great though.

I could care less how many transfers or hiwaasee dam kids go to Murphy,just play where you belong.oh that's right somehow you lost 40 kids in one year ironically after you got pup smacked in 1AA last year.lmao

Btw the Hendersonville I’m referring to is the one that knocked off Murphy’s undefeated team in the 3rd round of the 1aa playoffs in 2008. Swain has never fielded a team outside of the Heath Shuler era that could beat that team and I’m not sure even the Shuler era teams could knock off the 1aa Albemarle or Thomasville teams from the 2000s. Look, congrats on the 2011 title. I’m glad Swain won it, but let’s not act like Murphy’s 2001, 2005, 2008, and 2009 1aa playoff teams wouldn’t have won the 1aa state title against the same playoff opponents Swain faced in the 2011 season. That’s all I’m saying.

Murphy beat Albemarle in 2011, who beat West Montgomery by 17 points. So I guess you're the high one.

I don't know if Murphy would've beat West Montgomery that year, because teams match up different, but to say they couldn't is moronic when they beat the team that spanked them.

And you keep bringing up Murphy losing to Bessemer City in '04 like it's some black mark on the program. Well Swain lost to Bessemer City last year, so pot meet kettle.
