KU isn't losing Graham. Graham has to prove he can play point to make the league. And without Mason the point is all Graham's.

Azubuike was starting over Lucas before he got hurt. So, a healthy Azubuike > Lucas.

Self has said Malik Newman has been the best player in practice. Newman, and perhaps Duvall, should more than replace Mason's scoring.

Jackson will be a loss for the Jayhawks. But Bragg it appears has begun to put it together the last few games after a slow start. An improved Bragg, Billy Preston, and a healthy Colbey should very well be able to compensate for the loss of JJ.

KU also has top 40 recruits Marcus Garrett and Sam Cunliffe coming in. And Vick has become quite the player the last few weeks. And even if Self doesn't get Duvall (50/50 according to Evan Daniels), Mark Smith is very high on the Hawks and Tilmon maybe available should Groce get canned. Tilmon had KU in his top 3 before choosing Illinois.

So, KU could very well be better next year.

Talk about putting the best possible spin on every scenario.

Was just coming to say.. but looks like it's been covered..

Big change of events with Kansas losing in the first round Kentucky has a chance to go up +3.. and based on how well Kentucky and Kansas do in regular season.. that +3 cold take 2-3 years to get back. Pretty awesome. Gotta capitalize though.
