Anyone else think this might be the toughest game left on Wisky's regular season schedule?

Michigan's offense is pedestrian, and they have to go to Camp Randall.

I can easily see them undefeated into the BG10 Champ.

I was at Purdue Minnesota game. Purdue did not look that great. They scored a defensive TD after monsoon passed through. I think they will be lucky to get 21 on Wisconsin and will still lose by double digits.

I would be expecting to win out as a Wisky fan. I still wonder how their D handles a descent passing attack for 4Q and their QB is a game manager. Their schedule this year is a joke, honestly.

Iowa always plays them tough. Most years they can match Wiscy's physical play but I'm not sure about this year.

Based on what? Purdue is worse against the run than Nebraska is. Minnesota put up 5 yards per carry. Wisconsin will wear them down just like they did Nebraska.
If Purdue can get up early and force them to throw it more, they will have a chance, only scoring 10 points in the first half is what killed Nebraska against Wisky, with over 300 yards of offense Nebraska should have had at least 21 points.

I think people look at results and then judge based on expectation and not on actual results.

Purdue looked good against Louisville at Indy, first game of the season. They beat a horrible Missouri team and a Ohio team that gives up 30 points per game.

The only really good defense they played so far has been Michigan. In that game they were 13 of 30 through the air for 159 yards and ran the ball 20 times for 30 yards. Michigan put up over 400 yards of offense and I don't think anyone is claiming their offense to be on par with Wisconsin's.

People will laugh, but Iowa will give Wisc all they want, and will run wild on us (which should come as no surprise). But I still hate Iowa.

Purdue has a good offense. The plays feed off of and complement previous plays. There is an actual reason why their coach calls the plays he does. He gets a rhythm going and it can be tough to stop. He is a very good coach.

Purdue is going to move the ball against Wisconsin better than Nebraska did. Purdue will give up points and yards, but they are going to score too. I would be surprised if Purdue doesn't score 28.

Against Nebraska, Purdue is going to light up the scoreboard.

You sound like a fan boy. Purdue has an offense, good??? meh currently 76th in FBS. 94th in rushing offense and 39th in passing offense and 67th in scoring offense. The game is in Madison and Wisconsin will make them look bad.

As I said before you are basing their success this season as compared to what you expected them to be, not what they are.

No one is saying Nebraska has a good offense, but they 77th in scoring offense, 80th in rushing offense, 63rd in passing and 85th in total offense.

Michigan is 84th in total offense and they put 400 yards up on Purdue.

The Brohm love is what it is. Purdue is playing better than they did, but that doesn't make them good, that just makes them better.

Purdue has a long ways to go. No doubt about that. But they are giving every team they play fits. MI didn't steamroll through their game against them either. I watched that game.

Nobody is going to move the ball at will against MI. If Nebraska played MI I would predict a score of around 24-0.

What did you predict Nebraska would score on Wisconsin? Did you have 17 and 381 yards of offense? You posts are based on nothing more than your dislike for Riley and a weird obsession with Scott Frost and now apparently Brohm.

Wisconsin's defense handled Nebraska's descending passing game quite well.

I don't remember the exact score I listed for the NE vs WI game, but it was within the area of the final score. I remember putting teens for Nebraska and 30s for Wisconsin.

Most Badger fans think we will be undefeated when we play Iowa and Michigan and further think there's a pretty good chance we can lose both those games and still go to Minn and win the division.
We have the tiebreaker on Nebraska and NW already and Iowa should have three losses in the West by the time they play us.
Additionally, we could easily split those games or win them both also, even if we're not undefeated.Should have and could have beaten Mich in Ann Arbor last season.
I don't think we will lose to Purdue, think we easily cover that spread.

Yes, Iowa will be a great game as always. One of the best, most even rivalries in the conference. They got the short straw in cross overs and needs to split PSU and MSU. They didn’t. Probably will be pretty salty in November

Playing Iowa OR Wisconsin, often means a loss for the opponent the following week.
Both schools have bruisers who like to hit and play smash mouth football.
Badgers play smash mouth on offense, Iowa on defense but a lot of schools who lose to both programs, play even worse the following week because they are so beat up.
It's actually a good bet against usually.

I think Mich has a chance. Their defense will present a major challenge to Wisc. That game will likely be a slugfest.

I think they def beat Purdue. Purdue isn't good on offense and their lack of running game will be problematic, especially on the road.
