I have no idea who Grand Canyon U is. But if you're referring to Colorado they were in Big 12 before and left because of Texas.

I'll believe ASU, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Oregon and Washington are coming to the Big 12 when I see it actually happen. The PAC and Big 12 currently in peon world of college sports and ACC is a future peon.

GCU’s willingness to accept an invitation to join any P5 league has always been conditioned upon a classification upgrade and co-admittance of The University of Phoenix. I really do not see that happening in the current expansion climate.

A good point for sure! They are similar to UCLA and USC in that regard. Though we did see OU bolt without OSU. And if UofP and GCU go, what happens with SNHU? Hard to ignore the Portsmouth media market and their fans' diaspora, right?

True, SNHU is yet another sleeping giant. Also, I always liked the Maine Black Bears, a good travel partner with a mascot homage to the WV state animal, to boot. They had a winning record last year and went a gaudy 4-2 on the road. UConn & BC? “Been there, done that.”

But does GCU have a pigskin team?
I believe that is not a PC term. Pig/Boar/Swing/Peccary-skin allows for proper identification of the source of the ball covering without ignorantly assuming it came from a farm pig.

Outside that, I have no idea if GCU has a team, but google may help you there.

I'd throw in Western Governors University as well. Their epic battles with GCU are legendary out here. A natural rivalry with huge ratings.
