They won last year in TTown, don't see why they can't in front of the 12th man..? Sumlin is one of the best coaches in D1. Hopefully his *** is in the NFL next year or two, because we aren't beating that guy as long as he's at TAM.

Things to remember:

1) Bama is coming off a bye week. An extra week with Saban to plan? Advantage Saban.
2) aTm jumped on Bama last year, scoring 20 points in the first quarter. Bama's defense adjusted well in the second half, holding them to only 9 points.
3) Bama had a chance to win it in the dying moments of the game. McCarron threw an uncharacteristic INT on the goal line. A TD would have put Bama on top.

All things considered, I think Bama can win this on the road.

I believe Saban is 15-2 in rematch games that he lost prior in the year or previous year. That is for Alabama and LSU

I think a win would put them 3rd behind Oregon and Ohio State. All Ohio State has to do is not crap the bed with their easy schedule, and they should walk into the National Championship game. To me, Oregon looks like the best team right now. I think they would trounce Alabama.

Buy they'd be the frontrunner, but sell them actually winnning it

I think they'll lose at least two games this year.

Same reason LSU beat them in Tuscaloosa and couldn't do it in New Orleans. As others have pointed out, Saban doesn't lose revenge games.

I don't think they have the defense to stop Bama. Bama can run on them at will Saturday and control the clock. 38-21 and it's not really that close.

IF and that is a gigantic if....the beat Bama...by default they would have to be the frontrunner.

that being said...Alabama should have about 250 yards rushing on A&M. Their defense is no where near as good as it was last year and I think the circus surrounding the "Money Badger" has started to wear on some of the team mates. The whole Johnny cam thing would really piss me off if I was one of A&M's really good players.

so stupid. saban doesn't lose many games period. i wouldn't say revenge games are all that more likely to end in saban Ws than your avg saturday.

as long as there is an undefeated SEC team left on the table, that team is considered a championship frontrunner until they lose, because if they win out they will almost assuredly play for the title regardless of what happens elsewhere.

Someone pointed out that Saban is 15-2 in revenge games at LSU and Alabama. That's .882. He's 117-29 overall at those schools, or 102-27 in non-revenge games. That's .791. So yeah, revenge games are more likely to end in a Saban win.
