We under achieved?

I don't think there's any question that, with all the upperclassmen in our lineup, we underachieved. A lot of it is due to Hines and DJ, Larry too. Losing Highfill hurt. Still not sure why Downs hasn't done anything. Kohler was non-existent for a big chunk of the year.

No. We lack talent on the offensive side. We start a bunch of guys that would hit 7-8-9 in other sec lineups… and one that wouldn’t play at a good high school

Our hitting underachieved in a big way, but I don't think any of us could have expected our pitching (especially weekend starting) & defense to be as much better as it was.

Yes, this is a veteran team that should be hosting. But I don't necessarily think they failed either. I think recruiting has been an issue, so I blame the coaching staff minus Parker for not getting the pieces we needed.
