I haven't watched any practices, so maybe Dak looks great there and just had nerves or a bad day during the Spring game.
I'd say he looks about the same as Tyler did as a RFrosh. The reason I am underwhelmed is mainly from the hooplah here
that Dak would "compete for the starting job" etc. He had last spring, last fall, bowl practices and this spring, and I expected him
to be a little farther along.
It's only a big deal if Tyler gets hurt, and given his knee injury from last year, I'm not sure he will make it the whole season.
From what I remember, in the spring game, Dak was in more of a drop back mode, as opposed to running mode (quarterbacks weren't
allowed to be hit).
Again, it's still early, and he has plenty of time to improve.
