Tell me what yall think. I think that joker can throw a football. He is running for his life then throws a dart. That seem s like a MSU pre requisite. You better be able to run if you play QB for MSU. Being able to throw is a PLUS.

He looks good to me.

I think we are going to get either Haggard or Favre on campus somehow. Rosebowl said both are very high on MSU. I don't think Brunetti is going to happen, so it wouldn't be a bad thing to bring one of these guys in as an insurance policy for Newton/Russell. A greyshirt of either of those guys would be ideal.

Haggard looks good, but he holds the ball like a loaf of bread. However, that is not difficult to fix. WR #11 seems to be Witts' top target and he abuses his academy counterparts. He's tall and depending on his 40, he looks like he could be an invited walk-on.

By the way, that 6'6" 360 lb behemoth of a Junior OL Addarious "Tiny" Willis from Grenada would commit to State this year if we offered him. He was on campus for the GT game. He wants to stay in-state, but Saban is recruiting him heavily.

I can't tell from this video. Quality of competition is a concern for me. Maybe it's just me, but most of this video seems to be in slow motion.

I went to a small private school too, so I'm rooting for him to get an offer and turn out to be the real deal but at the same time I realize that you really can't get a good read on whether or not he could be an "SEC" quarterback by watching him play white boys who can't run.

I remember back in my playing days and when my school still played SBEC, they had a kid named Veazey who played QB. In HS he was pretty dominant. I don't think he put up the passing stats that Haggard does, but he did run the ball a lot like Haggard does and was considered a decent passer. He signed with UT as a QB but I think he got lost in the shuffle and eventually ended up at Safety. I think he was primarily used on Special teams. I just think it goes to show how the competition these guys play against can give you a skewed impression of their abilities.

this kid plays SEC football... He is just like every other private school QB he's the best player on his team but that doesn't make him a SEC caliber QB by any means.

I just can't tell from his video. The kids he's playing against look like they are running in sand. It's a big jump from that to SEC football.

Don't think I'm downing the kid. Actually, I hope to see him in Maroon and White and he's a great QB for us. I'm rooting for the kid. Heck, you brought up Dicenzo and he's my all-time favorite MSU player. I have nothing against small-school players.

West Alabama, North Alabama, Delta State would be a good place for him. His ACT isn't high enough for MC or Millsaps. He would make a very good player at that level.

P.S. I know his dad, played baseball with him in High School (anyway, I tried out while he was a star). Good guy.
