WLBT is already knocking down State and pumping the Rebels...

I think that's basically the equivalent of an AP article by someone with raycom media which owns WLBT.

"[The Rebels] have more options on offense..."

I guess um can make some arguments that they are the better team, but that is not one of them.

Let's see, State beats three top ten teams by double digits. The Bears win one by double digits and barely get by Bama. Seems to me the more proven team lies in Starkvegas... while the wool is riding high up north...

The Bears didn't win a Top 10 game by double digits; A&M was ranked >10 when they played (our fault). Bama was top 10 but they won by the skin of their teeth, as you said.

I think it's the idea that if you take away Dak our offensive quality drops, whereas if you take away Bo the Ole Miss offense doesn't really change much.

Just keep winning and the media can keep spewing all the **** they want. Our results on the field speak for themselves.

Who's backing up Bo?

I think Damien Williams, while he ain't no Dak, would be more than adequate. Looking back on the beginning of the season, everybody was clamoring to see Dak. How much do you think Damien getting playing time works in our favor now? I hope we get up on UK and get Damien some more time out there.

I found this line amusing...

"Let's reserve judgment until after he beats a team that doesn't have more baggage than a Kardashian."

The whole argument is BS though. Dak is part of the offense. What if you took treadwell off om? The fact is Dak is on our offense and we're #1 in total offense in the sec. Suck it wlbt

Damien is a good player, but he's far from Dak level. Our offensive options tighten up real fast without Dak in the game.

I don't know who is backing up Bo, but it can't be a huge dropoff. If the Egg Bowl were played with neither Dak nor Bo, which team would suffer more from the loss of their QB?

You're not taking their best offensive player off while you're taking ours. A better comparison would be taking dak and treadwell away imo

Lots of coincidences to go around here.

There's a lot that's similar as far as turning points go for our seasons. Ours came vs. LSU. If Redmond doesn't intercept the ball at the end, then things might be very different right now.

On the OM side, their defining moment came on nearly the same situation. A last second interception against Bama. If Bama gets that TD instead of the INT, then OM's season would be different also.

Ole Miss would suffer more. The Egg Bowl would be a shut out without Wallace. Kincaid and Liggins would not be able to move the ball and they have no run game.

Besides Treadwell and Tunsil who on their offense would you trade for any of our guys?

Think it would be good if when they come around for Mullen just to say he's busy. Maybe Freeze isnt. The whole US has heard of us now. They can go have sex with a gator (not person)

More options on offens? That is beyond idiotic....

Like others have said, this guy shows he is either an idiot or a bear with that statement. Probably both. Let's see, UM has a good but inconsistent QB, good receivers, spotty o-line and little running game. State has the leading heisman candidate at QB, good receivers, an excellent running game and an O-line that has dominated every game they've played including 3 top 10 teams. Yep that sounds like they have more options alright.

Don't take my word for it though. What does the numbers say? Total offense YPG: MSU #1 UM #8 Passing YPG MSU #5 UM #3 Rushing YPG MSU #2 UM #11. The proof is in the pudding.
