does Rice run it between the tackles, or are they more effective attacking the perimeter?

Yes. They're the #16 rush offense in the nation. You don't rush for that many yards without being able to do both effectively. Their primary RB is a big power back, so look for him to pound away on the inside.

Nitpicking slightly

No that it matters because the number is still impressive, but he's 2/5 this year on kicks of 50+

Just an aside, but this is their kicker's second worst year- next to his freshman campaign- with a 66% clip. Jr year. 79.3, Soph. 81.

But regardless, the dude is a four year kicker who has kicked at a 73% ish clip for his career.

lets hope he's a choke artist

I didn't realize our O numbers were so similar. Crazy. We should kick their ***.

"Williams is a work in progress, particularly passing."

I would argue that his throwing motion and accuracy are perhaps greater than Dak's. However his velocity is what has been his downfall.

His mechanics in terms of his throwing motion are certainly more that of the classic QB than Dak's short arm baseball motion. However, the kid was just in HS last year. He's ABSOLUTELY a work in progress. That said, I'm damn excited about his future. He seems to have that undefinable "it" you need at the QB position. And with Fitzgerald on campus and Staley coming in June, I'm hella wooly about our QB situation the next few seasons.

That really jumped out to me as well when I got into the research, 57. This is a game I *expect* to win, but remember, this is always a tough matchup for the SEC. It's a conference champ versus our 7-9 team. It says a lot about the strength of the conference that we win more often than not, but it's going to be a tight game in all likelihood.
