Wonder what's going on in Hattiesburg.

Hattiesburg just fired their coach after just 1 season, which was one of their best seasons in the last 15 years. Can't be for his results on the field.

Strange indeed. How long was Dickerson there? Did he actually ever coach a game for them. He left and went back to be OC at SP. All this is weird.

Anyone got any inside info?

Trey turned Hattiesburg into a playoff team in one year, but went back to SP this past season.

He has a daughter that lives in Batesville with his first wife. He missed being able to visit her often, so he resigned from Hattiesburg and came back to SP as OC.

Not a lot of coaches would step down in position over something like that. He is a good guy.

Not Trey Dickerson. He left Hattiesburg last year. They just fired Danny Nowell, who coached them to a 9-4 record this year and missed out on playing in the 6A championship game at the very end of the game.
