Thank God this comes around every 4 years.
League play starts next month. Mid to late August for most Euro leagues. Its a great way to spend early Saturday and Sunday mornings before American football. I get it though its not for everyone and thats fine. Womens World Cup is next summer and the US will be a favorite in that one. Being played in Brazil in case you want to book travel soon.

The two things that I appreciate about the world cup...

1. When it ends
2. That it isn't every year (or maybe it is and I just don't notice it"

Now the Socialist Mayor of Seattle can bring back all the homeless and druggies that she sent to the Internation District (China town) for the world cup and have them out again on 3rd and Pine and the meth can flow again on the busses and lite rail. yaaaaaa for Seattle

Correction: Fentanyl is more popular than meth now days.

Most in US don't understand that the EPL is 4-5 steps greater quality of play than what is available here (MLS). After watching the WC it is just painful to watch MLS --1st touch gaffs, and what the USA keeper demonstrated on the 3rd goal isn't unusual. We have a long ways to go. money talks and the contracts at MLS just wont bring the talent when they are at their prime.

FIFA confirmed Morocco, Portugal and Spain will host the 2030 men's World Cup. It has been 48 years since Spain has last hosted the World Cup.

FIFA World Cup 2030 will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the tournament.

FIFA has not yet officially announced which South American stadiums or arenas would be used for the 2030 World Cup, but the official Olympics website list several potential sites:

FIFA is bringing the 2034 World Cup Saudi Arabia — a dozen years after Qatar hosted the 2022 tournament.

Locations for Saudi 34 have not been announced, but there are a few arenas and stadiums that may be selected.

Saudi Arabia's bid envisions 15 stadiums across five host cities — including Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha and the new NEOM development — with a mix of renovated arenas and brand‑new builds designed specifically for the 2034 tournament.

Plans call for a flagship King Salman International Stadium in Riyadh for the opening match and final, plus a striking NEOM Stadium integrated into The Line mega‑project, alongside a dozen other venues.

factually incorrect statement, but continue expressing your ignorance.

Could not care any less about their sexual orientation, I root for my country’s teams to succeed on the global stage.
Not all but most are that’s their choice. I woman’s sports no matter on what stage just don’t do it for me . Most of my post was the OP claiming the woman are more fun to watch then the men because they win . I was just bringing up the best in the world for women got their *** kicked by a bunch of 13-14 year old boys.

Same. But when a single player on that team can't seem to keep her mouth shut when it comes to America and her President, I tend to just shun the entire team. I certainly don't root for them to lose. I just don't ******* care. Just play soccer.

Belgium doing the Trump dance after they pushed our sheet in was such an American thing to do!! Hahaha
If I gave two ***** about soccer, I would have thought to make a large bet on Belgium before the game. The U.S., I think, was playing on mojo and all of that went out the window. I assumed that the U.S. wasn't really that much better than Belgium and that reinstated "star" player wasn't worth the trouble. Not at all surprised that the team **** their pants. And it makes me wonder why our leaders and bothering to get involved.

The men's team crapping the bed when it mattered was predictable. They looked bad, the ease and amount of turnovers was embarrassing.

No way to sugarcoat the product on the field last night.
