Would we want Norries Wilson to stay in his position?

Just a thought. Don't know if it would be good. The running backs have bee the bright spot on this team. I wouldn't mind him staying on. Let me know if I'm wrong. Do you think a blind squirrel would have been able to do the same with our RB talent?

Our RBs have been the best position group so I would be okay with him staying. Any new coach, though, deserves to pick his own staff.

A new HC usually interviews the current staff but it's not mandatory. If the new guy thinks Wilson or any of them have value, he might keep them. The OC and DC will not be retained in my opinion. The HC, if he has experience, brings them with him.

doubt he will stay and believe the rb's are doing well because of their talent not because they are being coached up

So we blame the coaches for position groups not doing well but position coach for the one area doing well gets no credit. Thanks, got it.

Isn't he the only coach on the staff who looks like he knows what he's doing? Would be a good edition for the new staff. Up to him and the new coach though.

I really don't get the love for this guy. Yeah we have some nice RB's but do you think we use them properly or just stick to a pre planned rotation? I hated the idea that some were floating to given him the job on an interim basis instead of keeping Flood. We would have been just delaying by a year what we ultimately need to do!

We need to change the entire philosophy and come into the 21st century.

New coach bring in staff. If the new coach keeps him, that's fine with me. If the new coach cleans house and brings in all new coaches that's fine with me also.

No. No, NO!!! Please CLEAN HOUSE any HC who takes over this staff sucks!!!

You should say how you really feel lol.

It's not all that unusual for a new HC to keep one or more assistants. I see no problem if the next coach would want to keep someone as long as he feels that assistant brings what he wants and needs.

I could see a lifer like N Wilson being that kind guy. His specific unit has been a bright spot over the past 2 years. I could also see Galiano who has continued the tradition (Kickoff's OB the exception) of good special team play.
