I say hell yes! The guy is a gamer! If RG3 and Geno Smith can be successful JFF can as well. No way I pass on him... Thoughts?

I would be very tempted to trade down and take Mike Evans, if I were them. Andre Johnson doesn't have too many more years, and that could be alot to handle. That division isn't great. If you can score 28 points a game - I think you can win it.
Clowney helps as a pass rusher, but the other QBs in the league are Jake Locker and whatever poor soul Jacksonville walks out there.
Gotta say no.
Houston has to have a QB, though. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with Taj Boyd or Aaron Murray. Both of which you can get in the 2nd or 3rd round. No way do I think that JFF, Bridgewater, or Bortles are that much better than those two. The most valuable thing in the NFL these days is cheap labor. Gotta go with equal talent at a cheaper price.
Above all, though, the Texans need OL and LBs in the worst way possible. The OL need being borderline desperate. Yes, I live in Houston. I have to listen to this stuff all the time. The Texans ownership thinks that they're not that far away from being back in contention. I just don't see it. The GM is horrible and he'll screw this up somehow. Can't believe they kept him.
I'm not sure I would call him a huge threat; he averaged 3 catches and 50 yards per game. Their QB situation certainly had alot to do with that, but I don't see Hopkins as a #1 guy in the NFL like Evans.
Their RT situation (Newton) was single-handedly responsible for ruining their season. Both of their guards are horrible in pass protection. They have two over-hyped OL, Chris Meyers and Duane Brown. The rest are garbage. They have all had some injuries but damn, that group almost got poor Keenum killed (along with his inability to read the blitz). It won't matter if JFF or John Elway Is the QB if they don't improve the OL. Schaub is by far the best QB on their roster but he absolutely HAS to have protection. The Texans would get 10 times better by finding a way to somehow trade down and still get Clowney while using the additional picks for OL.
