Lane Kiffin says hi.

Tells LSU they never had a signed contract and that people have been trying to run him over around town.
I read possibly DeBoer to UM and Lane jumping to LSU. All wild speculation of course at this point.

For all his talk about LSU being the best job in college football, you don’t get bluer blood than Michigan.

Depends on your subjective definition of "best". I'm sure the answer varies from person to person.

I don’t care what measure you use. Michigan football is a behemoth. It doesn’t matter if you want to compare championships or anything else, other teams have more, but nobody’s blood is more blue than Michigan.

Read my post again - I wasn't talking about the "blue blood" part but the "...all his talk about LSU being the best job in college football..." portion.

Lane has his opinion of what it is and others have theirs.

The most reasonable suggestion as to the next coach at Michigan is Kenny Dillingham at Arizona State. I can’t see DeBoer leaving Alabama.

Ouch. The guy was detained at one point? Would they do that just for losing to OSU?

Affair with a staffer
Got her pregnant
Paid for an abortion
Threated to kill himself during an argument with his wife
Went to house of a staffer, held a knife to his own throat and threatened to kill them both

Wild and sad

If this is true not only has Moores life been destroyed (by his own hands) but there is going to be ripple effects that affect the whole university.
I believe we will see the likes of Penn State yet again.

Of course, the cynic can't help but ask: Would Michigan have dealt with this in the same way if his record wasn't so average?

Well, Josh Pate (reliable) reported that UM knew of the situation for a while but waited until after signing day to act.

Doesn't really make sense, though, since players can portal out immediately if a coach is fired.

I think a pregnant staffer can be "buried" (no pun intended). Once the life threatening happened, i would hope thats too much to sweep away.

Most wins of all time last I heard.
Yeppers, and they will likely remain in that position forever, unless they hit a real downturn. OSU is 20 wins behind them and Alabama 38. They would have to go winless and LSU undefeated for about 13 years for LSU to close the gap. Ten national titles to LSU's 4.

I don't like Michigan. Can't recall ever pulling for them in a game. But they one of the very small handful of teams, possibly them, ND and Alabama, that are synonymous with college football.

DeBoer should jump at the Michigan job if offered. He will never satisfy Bama fans. Michigan has money that hasn't seen the light of day. They can pay whatever it takes in NIL to get a player, rumor is that they paid Underwood $12million.

Also, Kirby has built a program equal to Bama at UGA and Texas, aTm and OU are all close. The days of Bama being clearly dominant in the SEC are over but the Bama fans will never accept that reality. If DeBoer has another season without an SEC or national championship next year, they might fire him.
