In an effort to remain fact driven and truth oriented, what you posted about Snoop is true. He was told that he had to get his grades in line and back on track before he would be allowed to practice. As we all knew, Snoop was circling the academic drain, if you will before Freeze got here. Freeze is trying to motivate the kid to take classes seriously. He was going to allow him to practice if a few of his tests and assignments came back with positive improvement. They did not, so he's not practicing this week. Freeze said maybe next week. That's something you think is funny? It's something to be scoffed at? Does Commissar Mullen allow kids with notoriously bad grades to play/practice?
Second, the "fight". It was a LB and OL who got tangled up during high energy type drills in pads. Something that happens on every practice field in the country. It wasn't a fight between players who hate each other or are banging each others moms. It was two emotional guys, hitting hard and getting a little heated. Again, happens every single practice, even under Mullen himself. It's called attitude and fire and sometimes it ends up with guys getting into skirmishes. The coach who got some teeth knocked out was not punched, he was hit in the mouth by a players helmet by accident. It clearly stated this in the article Lopez read, however he decided to leave that part out so that someone reading his post would infer that one of our coaches was decked by a player in a serious, chemistry destroying fight.
Fail.
