I assume accounting majors aren’t expected to read?!? Doctors can’t be expected to know how to balance a checkbook?!? Spanish majors surely can’t be expected to speak English!!!! College undergraduate major specificity has grown leaps and bounds!

Primarily for several rental properties, storage units, and the beach house. Sold the house in Maine last year, so one less.

Rental properties, a beach house . . . okay, these are two interesting items. Last year, we sold a 2nd residence (in Maryland - a commie state) and got screwed over with our taxes, capital gains, etc. Earlier this year, we sold a rental property without doing a 1031. Any tax/capital gains advice?
